Why We Require a Deposit
A refundable deposit is required on all trailer rentals.
Deposit amounts vary depending on the trailer's size and value — smaller utility trailers carry a lower deposit than larger enclosed or deck over trailers. You'll see the exact deposit amount for each trailer listed on its rental page before you book.
Your deposit is returned promptly after your rental is inspected and checked back in. If you have questions about deposit amounts or what qualifies for a full refund, call us at (704) 794-7316 before you book.
When Payment Is Due
Nothing is charged until you pick up your trailer. Booking online reserves your trailer, but no payment is taken at the time of booking — you'll pay the rental fee and deposit in person when you arrive for pickup.
This gives you flexibility to reserve early without committing your payment method upfront, and lets us confirm trailer condition and answer any last-minute questions together before your rental starts.

I rented the #20 23ft Equipment Trailer from Prime Trailer Rental, LLC. I had it for a couple of hours. The rental was clean and looked well maintained.
I had the #18 24ft Enclosed Trailer through Prime Trailer Rental, LLC. I can’t say enough great things about Prime Trailers! They truly came through for me at the last minute when I went to pick up a special load for Brabras and discovered that my trailer was too low to accommodate it. The owner was absolutely amazing—super accommodating, professional, and willing to go above and beyond to help me out of a difficult situation. He not only allowed me to use his trailer on Friday but also let me park my own trailer at his location while I used his. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to complete all the work on the truck that Friday, so I had to return the following Monday. Without hesitation, he was willing to let me use the trailer again so we could finish the job! As someone who works in the transportation industry, I know how important it is to have dependable people you can count on, especially when unexpected situations arise. Prime Trailers truly understands customer service! It’s rare to find a business that genuinely cares about helping people rather than just making a sale. I am extremely grateful for their kindness, flexibility, and willingness to help. I highly recommend Prime Trailers to anyone looking for exceptional service and a company that goes above and beyond for its customers. Thank you again for making a stressful situation so much easier! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
